The day of my son’s birth, Sami was prompt and responsive, and reassured me in the midst of my labor panic with the calm confidence my heart searched for. She arrived before my doula, and set the tone for my labor - which was beautiful and wild. When my son and I experienced complications after birth, I never truly worried - because I had Sami at my side. I would trust Sami with my life.

Beyond birth, Sami goes above and beyond for her families. When my son was recovering three hours north in the Kalispell NICU, she made the trip with her own new baby to support me, teach me how to pump, and remind me that I can do hard things. To this day, seeing her face around town reminds me of the beacon of light she was to me during that transition.
